Why Sousuke?

Full Metal Panic Fumoffu is just so funny! I started watching the fansubs and then the official Full Metal Panic series available in the US. He's just such a straight laced character doing his job and just not fitting in with normal school life.

Ok, I can identify with some of it, but mostly because the show is damned funny. :)

How did I make Sousuke?

Since Sousuke's summer school uniform is just a dress shirt with two stripes, I just bought one on sale and sewed on two stripes. I had a couple of toy guns and I used my Squall scar makeup to do Sousuke's scar. It was the easiest, fastest costume I've ever come up with. :)

Reactions

Surprisingly good! Fumoffu is only available as a fansub at the moment, but Full Metal Panic is pretty popular. I had a few people at RECCACon recognized me, but I think it was mostly the scar then the uniform. One girl even came up to me and asked for a picture because she recognized me from Fumoffu! <swoon> It made my day. :D
