The Browncoat Ball is a Firefly/Serenity themed formal ball held in San Francisco, CA. It was a wonderful chance to dress up, dance and meet up with other fans! I had a wonderful time attending.

Went to the LOTR:TTT movie on opening day. It was a fantastic movie with some friends who dressed up for the occasion.

One of the video stores that sells anime in Japantown had a raffle, basically anyone who was in costume was eligible. So another excuse to get together and hang out in costume!

BayCon 2004, Sci-Fi/Fantasy Convention

A first time anime convention in San Francisco.

So I finally make it to the infamous ACen! It was a lot of fun with fantastic guests! They had many Japanese guests that were involved in Sakura Taisen (Wars). I had a blast!

WonderCon is a comic book/sci-fi convention in San Francisco. It's big brother is Comic-Con. It's a small local con that was pretty fun.

My first anime convention of 2003. My first east coast convention, and the first time I've been snowed in. :P

My first time a LosCon which is a very good sci-fi/fantasy convention in the LA area.

I only visited for an afternoon, but it was cool meeting up with people and there were a lot of J-Rock cosplayers there.

Basically a mini-convention in San Francisco. One video room with some previews of new US Anime releases. There was a costume contest as well, with some really great cosplayers.

They say it's one of the smallest anime cons in California. As the saying goes, it's not the size that matters, but what you do with it. A better description is that it's anime/cosplay camp!

The San Diego Comic Con. It's more of a comic book, sci-fi convention then a pure anime convention. You definatly see a lot more different costumes and super heros. Good stuff.

My first Anime Expo! All things anime all the time. Man it was fantastic. It was also my first time cosplaying too!

Wow, another year another BayCon. Just look at the pictures and you'll see what a great sci-fi event it is and how crappy Creation Star Trek cons are in comparison.

Fanime, a great anime convention in the Bay Area. It was a lot of fun and some fantastic costumes.
