November 29-Dec 1, 2002Some friends told me about LosCon this year after Thanksgiving. Since it was a chance to go to a con, and they told me how great it was. Why the heck not? :)
I didn't get there until late Saturday night because of traffic. :( So I missed a lot of the main events. Doh! But I stayed for Sunday and got some great pictures. Hope everyone likes them.
Yay, good to see other anime cosplayers at LosCon. I've seen her at a lot of random cons, but finally got talk to her and her family. Even had dinner before we all headed back to the Bay Area. Dressing up from Akira. Hehe, her daughter was having a ton of fun with the balloonist in the dealer room. :) Ahhh, she has someone's eyes! Hahaha, Marvin the Martian with the Mars Lander. It was zooming around the convention center. This is an amazing costume based on the art of Hajime Sorayama. Her costume was really fantastic, and she's shiny! I got to talking to and she's a fan of anime as well. The topic came up since I was wearing my Squall costume. We're probably going to go to some of the same anime conventions, but she'll have to do the recognizing as I won't know what she looks like. :) More shininess, just in black. :) Lady Lara Croft. She had banana's for guns, I guess she didn't wanna have to worry about the weapons policy. Hehe. Caught her again at the room parties. At first I thought she was actually part of hotel security. Then I realzed the mid-riff and the leather pants would probably not be the proper attire for a security guard. :> A very nice turkey for the holidays. :) She went to a local resturant with it on her arm, and they told her that she couldn't bring live animals into the place. Hahah! The Can-Can girls that performed at LosCon. They were very good and very funny. Sailor Mini-Moon... awww, she's giving me cavities... Hehe, he said during the masqurade, that he was the Power Puff Girls stunt guy. This is the first cosplay dog I've seen. :D
